Checking In and Out
We welcome guests from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. If you want to check in early, please call and make arrangements.
If you are going to be arriving later than 8 p.m., please call and let us know. We can give you a combination to open the upstairs door if the front desk is closed when you arrive. You don’t really want us to answer the door in our pajamas. It’s not attractive! Check-out time is 11 a.m. Any check-outs after will result in a $35 fee per hour.
There is a 50% deposit fee upon making the reservation, and the balance is due in full on checkout. We accept all major credit cards and personal checks.
If you cancel all or part of your reservation or require other changes in your schedule, we must receive advance notice.
If you cancel up to 7 days prior to check-in, you will receive your deposit back. There is a $25 fee for any deposits returned.
- If you must cancel within the 7 days prior to check-in, your deposit may be kept.
- There may be expectations to the cancellation period in which case we must have 100% occupancy on the days reserved before we could return your deposit.
- This policy pertains to early check-outs as well as cancellations.
- Special events and holidays may have greater cancellation periods. Please call ahead.
The majority of our guests are adults trying to find a relaxing, quiet getaway. We offer the Requa House as a great alternative to the Requa Inn and is, we think, far more suitable for families and young children. Otherwise, please call us to talk about options for children.
Commercial fishing season for the Yurok Tribe runs mid-August through mid-September. Fishing season is busy and the area around the Inn is filled with hustle and bustle – especially the road outside the Inn that leads down to the docks. We like our guests to be aware that we wouldn’t trade it for anything, but fishing season can get boisterous.
We live in a 100 year old old growth redwood building, so, we don’t allow smoking anywhere inside the building! But, we have outdoor smoking areas on either the front or back porch where we keep ashtrays for our smoking friends. Candles and incense in our rooms are also taboo because we worry about fire in an old wooden structure.
We are sorry but we do not accept pets at the Inn.
