River Views

Spectacular views of the Klamath River.

Located in the southwest corner of the Inn, the Rhododendron Room has a river view, lovely natural light, an antique birds-eye maple queen bed set, and
wallpaper that we believe is original to the 1914 building. The room’s private
bath, built in the old water tower, is charming if small, and has a claw-foot tub
and shower.

FAM About the innkeepers Jan Wortman and her family bought the Historic Requa Inn in winter of 2010. But this has been a long time coming for the her and her family. Requa is the place of a traditional Yurok village and it’s this village site where Jan’s family is from. Since time immemorial, Jan’s family and ancestors have live here at Requa (pronounced “Rek-Woi” in Yurok). This is the most special place in the world for her. Jan’s family; Marty her husband, Thomas her son, and Geneva her daughter (along with Geneva’s husband Reweti Wiki and their three kids, Maia, Keeya, and Ani) help run the inn.
